Our class newsletter is something we integrate into the curriculum. Every 2 weeks, students select "camp jobs," with two positions as News Editors. During Writing Workshop Independent time, these students are responsible for researching and creating the newsletter. Not only do they come up with stories, but they have to set up interviews and come up with a creative layout for each newsletter. We try to get our newsletter out at least once a month, but this doesn't always work. Hope you enjoy!
