We had the chance to visit the Legislative building downtown right before the House of Representatives went into session...and we toured the capital building when our new Governor Bev Perdue was in a meeting. The history museum also offered us a glimpse into the history of our great state! |

The Chapel Hill Museum was a quick, but fun field trip. In fact, it was only 1 mile from school! We broke into groups to learn about Paul Green and the Lost Colony. At the end of our trip, everyone participated in a 5 Act play about the Lost Colony. Theater and performing are always a fun way to learn something new! |
