We visited the North Carolina State Fair on October 22. Who knew that there was so much to learn about our great state!

We had a great time at Raleigh's Museum of Natural Sciences. We explored the museum's 4 levels and learned all about science related topics in North Carolina. We also enjoyed a close up look at animal adaptations in an Animal Detectives class. Science is super fun!

We had the chance to visit the Legislative building downtown right before the House of Representatives went into session...and we logo2toured the capital building when our new Governor Bev Perdue was in a meeting. The history museum also offered us a glimpse into the history of our great state!

The Chapel Hill Museum was a quick, but fun field trip. In fact, it was only 1 mile from school! We broke into groups to learn about Paul Green and the Lost Colony. At the end oflogo3 our trip, everyone participated in a 5 Act play about the Lost Colony. Theater and performing are always a fun way to learn something new!
